Carnegie Arts Center presents The Garden Party at The Greenery!

This Turlock tradition is coming back!! The Garden Party at the Greenery features a fine art exhibition and sale of works by artists from across our region, along with music, food, wine & beer — all in the lush setting of The Greenery Nursery & Garden Shop in downtown Turlock. All proceeds support the operation of our premier regional arts center. You are invited to submit up to 4 pieces of original art for gallery areas situated throughout The Greenery's beautiful grounds. Please make note of the exhibition information below.

Your participation will make this event a success for all!

  • Entry fee is $20 per piece; Carnegie Arts Center members may use the promo code CAC to receive a $5 discount on the per item fee. Artists can submit up to four pieces to this popular exhibition. Two or more entries includes free admission for the artist to attend the Garden Party.
  • All entries must be paid for and submitted through SmarterEntry.com by 5 PM on September 19, 2026.
  • You must provide an easel or pedestal for each entry. Easels must be able to support each work safely. Pieces under 20" wide may be displayed on a tabletop easel. You must supply a pedestal for 3-dimensional work.
  • CAC will handle sales during the event. A donation equal to 40% of the sale price will be retained by the CAC. Reimbursement of the remaining 60% of the sale price will be mailed to you following the event.
  • Receiving will take place on Friday, September 25, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Bring your art and easels to The Greenery, 742 E. Olive Avenue, Turlock (second parking lot in your left), and our volunteers will check you in.
  • Any work that does not come with an easel or pedestal adequate for display may not be included in the exhibition. Decisions regarding the display of work will be at the discretion of the exhibition committee.
  • Works should be picked up immediately following the event, 8:00-9:00 PM. If necessary, work may be picked up on Sunday, September 27, from 9 AM to 12 PM. For security purposes please see volunteers at the entrance gate to check out your work.
  • Any artwork left after 12 PM Sunday, September 27, will be removed from the premises and must be picked up at the CAC by appointment. A transport and storage fee of $5 per day will be strictly enforced.

The Garden Party Art Exhibition is a non-juried, all-inclusive venue to promote the work of regional artists. We hope to attract a wide variety of artists to exhibit. We encourage you to join us at the event to promote your work and spread the joy of collecting original art. Advance tickets for the Garden Party are available for purchase on-line or in person at the Carnegie Arts Center.

Artists ages 18+ are encouraged to enter artwork in our juried exhibitions throughout the year, including the annual Carnegie Art Showcase.
