We are Hiring: Events Manager!
From weddings to birthday parties, corporate meetings to fundraisers, the Carnegie Arts Center is buzzing with activity!
Our part-time Events Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of facility rentals and the CAC’s special events, managing the facility calendar, supervising event staff, and providing high-quality customer service. With a steady stream of corporate, community, and private events taking place year-round, the Events Manager should be organized and detail- oriented to ensure smooth operations. Candidates with experience in the hospitality industry and/or non-profit events management are encouraged to apply.
The schedule is flexible, depending on event needs, and will typically be 20-24 hours per week. Pay range is $20-23/hour.

We are hiring Art Educators!
Do you or someone you know love to create and want to share that talent with others? The CAC is hiring teachers to lead classes and workshops in painting, drawing, ceramics, and more! We are looking for educators who want to teach adults and/or children from pre-K to teens. Our classes are held after school, evenings, and weekends depending on your schedule. Summer Camps for youth take place Monday-Friday during June and July.
The class schedule is variable. Pay range is $20-30/hour, based on experience.

We are hiring: Ceramics Studio Technician!
The CAC has an opening for a technician to work in our ceramic studio! Qualified candidates will have experience with all aspects of ceramics equipment and processes, including operating and maintaining the kiln, pottery wheels, slab roller, and pug mill. Responsibilities include making sure work from classes/workshops is ready for firing and glazing, keeping the studio tidy and ready for classes, and ensuring that studio policies and procedures are up to date for instructors and students. The Ceramics Tech may also teach classes in wheel throwing and hand building and lead community activities to introduce the community to the creative world of pottery!
The schedule is flexible, depending on course needs, and will typically be around 5 hours per week with additional time for teaching. The class schedule is variable. Pay range is $20-30/hour, based on experience.

We are Hiring: Event & Building Supervisor
From weddings to birthday parties, corporate meetings to concerts, movies, lectures, and more, the Carnegie Arts Center is buzzing with activity!
Our part-time Event & Building Supervisors assist with many aspects of facility rentals and special events. We are looking for someone who wants flexible hours and the opportunity to grow in areas of responsibility with a creative non-profit organization. Good candidates will be able to:
- Set up and break down tables and chairs
- Set up basic A/V equipment
- Provide general customer service/assistance during events
- Help maintain event supplies
- Help maintain event spaces (light custodial duties, change lightbulbs, touch up paint, report problems)
Hours are dependent on the schedule of rentals and events and is highly variable week to week. Staff needs to be flexible and available some early morning and/or late night hours. Pay rate is $17/hour.
