Membership at the Carnegie and the North American Reciprocal Museum Association

The Carnegie Arts Center thrives because of our community and our members. Members support exhibitions and programs at the Carnegie, including our many events and arts classes. Carnegie Arts Center members are offered discounted admission to art exhibits, events, and programs. However, because the Carnegie is a member of the North American Reciprocal Museum Association, members can receive equally amazing benefits at hundreds of museums across the country. While we have basic membership levels to fit any budget, it is only with the Friend or higher membership levels that we extend membership to the North American Reciprocal Museum Association, which includes over 709 arts institutions across the United States, Canada, and other countries. Inclusion in this program awards members with free or discounted member admission during regular museum hours, member discounts at museum shops, and discounts on concert and lecture tickets.

Though the Individual or Dual Membership offers great discounts, we highly recommend the Friend, Benefactor, or Patron membership levels in order to receive the greatest benefits.

Membership Levels & Annual Rates

Educator $40: Invitations to exhibits and programs; 10% discount on exhibit and class fees; members-only preview hours.

Senior (65+) $40: Free admission to all exhibits. 10% discounts on classes and gift shop purchases. Invitations to receptions

Individual $50: Free admission to all exhibits. 10% discounts on classes, gift shop and artwork purchases. Invitations to receptions.

Dual $75: Dual membership with free admission to all exhibits. 10% discounts on classes, gift shop and artwork purchases. Invitations to receptions.

Friend $125: Dual membership with free admission to all exhibits, including one guest. Reciprocal memberships with more than 700 museums across the country. 10% discounts on classes, gift shop and artwork purchases. Invitations to receptions.

Benefactor $250: Dual membership with free admission to all exhibits, including two guests. Reciprocal memberships with more than 700 museums across the country. 10% discounts on classes, gift shop and art work purchases. Invitations to all receptions.

Patron $500: Dual membership with free admission to all exhibits, including two guests. Reciprocal memberships with more than 700 museums across the country. 15% discounts on classes, gift shop and art work purchases. Invitations to all receptions.

Carnegie Circle $1000: Dual membership and free admission to exhibits; including four guests. Reciprocal memberships with more than 700 museums across the country. 15% discounts on classes, gift shop and art work purchases. Invitations to all receptions, including private tours of the exhibits and facility for friends, family, business associates, upon request and as available.
