The Carnegie Arts Center of Turlock is delighted to welcome the unique ensemble that is Snap Jackson & the Knock on Wood Players for a one-of-a-kind concert on March 10, 2015.

Snap Jackson & the Knock on Wood Players is an award-winning acoustic quartet hailing from Stockton, California. The group effortlessly blends Americana, Bluegrass, Soul, and Old Time Music to create a unique, fresh, and energetic sound. They have been featured on the same bill with such notable acts as Alison Krauss, Old Crow Medicine Show, Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Steep Canyon Rangers.
Snap Jackson will play the banjo and also covers vocals. Jackson also plays ukulele, dulcimer and harmonica. In 2015, Jackson was named male Vocalist of the Year by the California Bluegrass Association. He has endorsement deals with Kala Ukuleles and the Deering Banjo Company
Shane Kalbach plays fiddle, mandolin and guitar in the quartet. A classical viola player as well, he also plays regularly with Townsend Opera and the Merced Symphony, and is active as a teacher and conductor in numerous youth music programs around the Central Valley.
Eric Antrim is a guitarist with the Knock on Wood Players. Before relocating to the Central Valley in 2011, Antrim was active in the Sonoma-based group The New Stumptown Rounders. He has an endorsement deal with Bourgeois Guitars.
Brian Clark, bass player, performs regularly with jazz and classical groups as well as in the bluegrass genre. Educated at University of the Pacific, Clark played the Carnegie Arts Center as part of the Joe Mazzaferro Septet in the jazz music series last fall
