Differing and confident opinions, the variety of entries, and the large number of works in the show made for a highly diverse selection. All three jurors had favorites, all three had to agree on the Best of Show selection. If you are an artist and you’ve entered shows in the past, you know that the same artworks put in front of different jurors would end with a completely different result. It might be reasonable to withhold judgement until one has seen the entire exhibition (at both galleries), to get a sense of the overall competition. In any case, not everyone will agree; they never do! Isn’t art wonderful that way?
