The Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center is dedicated to promoting poetry throughout Stanislaus County and to promoting Stanislaus County through poetry. The CAC and MoSt have hosted U.S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera and California Poet Laureate Dana Gioia for readings at the CAC, and working together we will continue to bring the art of poetry to life.

This fun-loving group of ukulele players have a long history at the CAC. Their members love learning new songs, and they perform regularly at CAC events and around the community.

Monthly meetings at the CAC bring experts and ideas together for this group of dedicated gardening enthusiasts. Through community and educational projects, the Turlock Garden Club strives to promote the love of gardening. The club is helping maintain the beauty of our landscape by bringing talented volunteers together during the year to tend the many rose bushes that surround the CAC.

On most Friday evenings, the Village Dancers can be found stepping and spinning to traditional music from around the world. No experience is necessary for anyone who wants to join in and share the joy of dance at the CAC!
