The Carnegie Arts Center is proud to announce the appointment of Leah Silvestre Franklin as its first Development Director. A respected organizational leader, Leah brings a unique blend of strategic vision, passion for the arts, and a heart for community impact to this new position. With a professional background spanning two decades in the non-profit and education sectors, Leah has long been recognized for her ability to build & deepen meaningful relationships and facilitate opportunities that align vision with resources.
“Leah’s dedication to community and her passion for arts perfectly align with our strategic objectives and our commitment to providing arts for all” said Lisa McDermott, Executive Director. “Her background in leadership, relationship-centered mindset, and her ability to create an inspiring vision for impact, make her uniquely qualified to help us steward our next chapter.”
In her part-time role, Leah will focus on fund development strategy, donor stewardship & cultivation, and major donor initiatives; all in support of advancing CAC’s mission as a regional gathering place for vibrant engagement with the arts. Her leadership will help ensure CAC’s programs continue to thrive, impact the community, and touch lives across the generations.
