DESCRIPTION:Creative activity can be essential for wellbeing. Join us on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month from 1-3pm for the Wellness Art Club! Led by Recreational Therapist\, Jesse Hunt\, each meeting will include artmaking as a coping skill and lifestyle lessons to support positive mental health. \nMeet\, create art & connect with others! \nPre-registration suggested but not required; drop-ins welcome. \n  \nAbout the facilitator: \nJesse James Hunt \nIn my lifelong journey as an artist\, which began in 3rd grade\, and through over 14 years as a dedicated recreation therapist in mental health\, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of art. It’s more than just colors on canvas; it’s a pathway to healing and self-discovery. My passion lies in inspiring others to embrace art as a tool for healing and a means of coping with life’s challenges. \nJoin me in this creative odyssey where every brushstroke tells a story and every creation is a step towards personal growth and community connection. Through art\, we’ll explore the depths of our experiences\, finding solace and strength in the process. Together\, we’ll build a supportive environment where artistic expression becomes a sanctuary for the soul\, fostering resilience and empowerment. \nWhether you’re an experienced artist or discovering your creative voice for the first time\, there’s a place for you here.
